DIMENSIONS is among Germany’s best corporate publications. This year, two renowned industry prizes have confirmed this: both, the PR-Report Award and the Fox Awards have honoured Rheinmetall’s group magazine as an inspiring example of successful brand communication, quality journalism and creative design.

As one of the world’s leading suppliers of equipment to armed forces, Rheinmetall is particularly in the public view and has a responsibility for Europe’s security. “With our high-quality corporate magazine DIMENSIONS, we want to strengthen Rheinmetall as a global brand and actively manage our image and reputation. It’s about creating trust in our performance and technological leadership, and furthermore about consolidating our attractiveness as an employer,” explains Dr Philipp von Brandenstein, Head of Corporate Communications at Rheinmetall AG, stating on the objective of the publication. “Rheinmetall is taking responsibility in a dramatically changing world. In DIMENSIONS, we illustrate this mission in an authentic way by presenting the people in our corporation and their environment, who contribute so significantly to this with their work.”

Each issue of the magazine reports on topics of economic, political and social relevance. Readers experience the full diversity of the Rheinmetall universe: open, dialogue-oriented and always in-touch with the people. This was of great importance for the editorial team from the very beginning. “The wide range of articles shed light on backgrounds, impart knowledge and tell stories that are only available at Rheinmetall,” says Oliver Hoffmann, who acts as editor-in-chief of DIMENSIONS and heads the public relations department at the defence and technology corporation. “At the same time, the topics reflect the growing resonance that Rheinmetall has for society today.”

The project team is all the more pleased that the demanding journalistic and design work of the last two years has now been honoured with two prizes. The PR-Report Award is one of the most prestigious industry awards in the German-speaking world. In 2024, the jury selected the best work of the year from almost 500 submissions in 24 categories. The Rheinmetall magazine DIMENSIONS won the coveted trophy in the ‘Corporate Media – analogue’ category.

The Fox Awards focus particularly on the efficiency and impact of communication solutions. The jury awarded Gold for Rheinmetall’s publication and its outstanding performance. Among other things, the team of experts praised the “exemplary journalistic language.” Thanks to this, the magazine has become “a brand ambassador for Rheinmetall which more than fulfils the values of the global corporation.”

For the editorial team of DIMENSIONS, the awards are a welcome incentive to continue along the same path. In the future, the Group magazine shall continue to provide readers with insights into the fascinating daily life of Rheinmetall with exciting reports, interviews and expert knowledge – be it in defence technology and cyber security or in the civilian markets for an independent energy supply and climate-friendly mobility.
